Happy New Year!
So here we are, with 2016 almost upon us! Crazy times.
In all honesty, I am happy to see the back of 2015. Not for bad reasons – mainly because I feel totally out of steam with all of the madness of work, having a big birthday (inc party, obvs), Christmastime and managing to move house! Pheeeeeewwwwey.
Now I feel as though I can get back to normality a little bit… piece by piece.
I am very lucky to have my very own sewing room in my new home, which still needs sorting out. But it does mean that I should be up and running with my Janome in no time at all. Can’t wait!
This is also the 1 year anniversary of starting The Gingerthread Girl blog. I’ve absolutely loved blogging my makes this year – and raring to get going on projects for 2016 – many ideas! And I have some very exciting changes coming to the blog very soon too. I really cannot wait to show everyone! So watch this space.
Anyway, here are a few snaps to roundup my 2015 which I thought you might like to have a nosey at.

The Gingerthread Girl was born at the start of 2015

Such a highlight for me - meeting winner of the last GBSB, Matt Chapple

One of my favourite makes this year - a Tilly & The Buttons Bettine

Halloween face

I had a little 30th birthday - celebrated at The Blues Kitchen Shoreditch

Birthday gift - my new Janome

And finally... the new house was finished!
Here’s to a very fun and special 2016 everyone!
