SewCam: All The Info & Wonderful Sponsors!

On Sunday 9th December, a bunch of 30 dressmakers will be descending upon Storey’s Field Centre in Eddington, Cambridge for a festive day of doing what we love most – sewing!

The venue (Storey’s Field Centre) is a brand new building on the newly developed area on the outskirts of Cambridge called Eddington. It is an incredible building, and has recently won and been shortlisted for a number of architecture awards (including the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize 2018). So it will be the perfect backdrop for much sewing magic to happen (and of course, those all important Instagram snaps!).

Attendees will be bringing along their own machines and projects to work on, while nattering with sewing neighbours and munching a mince pie or two!

The wonderful team at Brother Sewing UK have agreed to loan us 2 overlockers for use on the day, as well as some tote bags and other goodies!

Charity Raffle

I am over the moon to have selected breast cancer charity Coppafeel to receive proceeds from our charity raffle. Such a great cause which is close to my heart – with an important message to spread (check those boobs ladies!). And I can’t help but let slip that prize donations have been absolutely AMAZING! I am blown away by the generosity of these wonderful brands – so a huge thank you to all of you for all of the contributions!
